Susan Adelman and Jim Bachwitz enjoy leading a team of proficient research professionals and take great pride in the relationships they and their staff have built with their clients and other research industry professionals. 

Both have expertise and training in qualitative and quantitative methodologies, facilitation and analytics, and together provide a unique polymath skill set to deliver well thought out and planned market research solutions to not only meet but exceed their client’s expectations.

Susan has over 25 years’ experience as a researcher and moderator/consultant. She has worked with leading consumer goods, health care, health insurance and industrial manufacturers  in the development and testing of new products and concepts and understanding unmet needs and market opportunities. Susan is a proficient research practitioner utilizing internal and external ideation sessions, as well as traditional qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.

With extensive training in creative problem solving and facilitation, Susan specializes in understanding behavior, motivations and decision making utilizing custom designed research solutions, and has worked extensively in the areas of brand image, name and logo testing.

She is trained in various types of ideation, creative problem solving and scenario planning techniques and attended The Center for Studies in Creativity and The Center for Team Performance. Susan has her Professional Researcher Certification at the Expert Level (PRC) from the Marketing Research Association, and is a member of the Qualitative Research Consultants Association. In addition to serving as a moderator and consultant, Susan proudly oversees a team of research professionals at ARG SurveyService.

Susan is a member of the Insights Association, and served on the Board of Directors of the Marketing Research Association where she received the Distinguished Member Service Award.

She was a member of the initial committee that developed the inaugural modules for MRII, the University of Georgia Market Research Institute International Market Research Education Program where she served as President in 2006.

Jim joined ARG SurveyService in 1986 and became Vice President in 1990. With degrees in business, marketing research, and communications, he is an experienced consultant who addresses research challenges analytically and creatively to design optimal research solutions to meet our clients various challenges.

With extensive experience in various quantitative and qualitative methodologies, coupled with proficient statistical, analytic and reporting skills, Jim provides clients with the insights and data they require to be able to understand and utilize research findings to their strategic advantage.

Jim also provides oversight for all ARG SurveyService data collection activities and manages a team of analysts, project managers and IT professionals. Jim has his Professional Researcher Certification and is a member of the Insights Association.

Jim is past President of the board for Just Buffalo Literary Center and currently serves as marketing committee chairperson for Just Buffalo. He also serves on the board of Empower Camp.
